Cakes by the Lake is one of my favorite web design projects — and one I proudly showcased in a public showcase. This site blends a sleek, modern layout with soft, inviting colors to reflect the brand’s elegance and warmth. From the moment visitors land on the page, they’re greeted with smooth design, bold visuals, and a calm, curated feel that speaks to both creativity and professionalism.

I focused on clean typography, well-balanced spacing, and subtle animation to keep the experience polished while still feeling personal. The color palette plays a big role in the site's charm — it's a combination of soft neutrals and rich tones that mirror the beauty and warmth of custom cakes and lakeside vibes. This project really allowed me to lean into my sense of style and layout while building something that feels as beautiful as it is functional.
